How do I save my avatars as .jpg, .gif or .png?I made a few avatars, and when I try to use the it says I needed to save them as .jpg, .gif or .png, but I dont kno how.( I wasnt sure where to put that so I just put it here instad of "Feedback".)

You should upload the avatar into some kind of image uploader thingie (like imageshack or tinypic). When it is uploaded, copy the "Direct Link" and paste it into the avatar menu where it says "Upload from a URL". That should work.

This was a good idea! Go tech help! Yeah, it's really easy to put images on to tinypic.com. You don't have to register or anything.

Yea, and Im really new at The GIMP and I dont know how to make sigs yet.And Im trying to learn.

ok i got the pics through the email but the filetypes are unknown to my computer and photobucket.com. could you drag and drop the images this time instead of attaching them? thx.

p.s. I use gimp too.

Why don't you just go to tinypic.com or something and do what fauxhawk said? It might be easier.

I tried tinypic.com and still an error. Its pretty much the same as photobucket.com, imageshack, etc.

I have an idea.

Press the PrtScrn/SysRq button on your keyboard. This copies whatever is on the screen.

Open Paint and click Paste. You should have pasted the screen with your avatar on it.

Trim off any unwanted scrap and save. This is only a .bmp file so far so you should use a site to upload it (imageshack, tinypic, etc.)

Get the direct link and paste it into the "Upload from URL" and submit. That should work.
